Bollywood’s ace filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, who is best known for giving the industry some of the critically acclaimed romantic films such as Rockstar, Jab We Met, Love Aaj Kal, Highway, Tamasha and many others, is set to set to be back with fresh web- series titled Dr Arora.
Touted to be a dramedy, Dr Arora has a story different from Imtiaz’s films, he delivered in the past, it has a unique concept that also has a message for society.

The makers of the series have already revealed the official date of the series’ premiere. This comedy drama film will be released on July 22, 2022 on India’s one of the leading OTT platforms, Sony LIV. So save the date, and enjoy the series.

Along with revealing the released date, the makers have also released the trailer which is quite interesting and it talks about a series issue in a very humorous and entertaining manner.
The 2.5 minute trailer shows actor Kumud Mishra in the titular role, who runs clinics in three different cities Morena, Jhansi, and Sawai Modhpur and helps people who are facing sexual problems.

Dr Arora Star Cast
Directed by Imitiaz Ali’s younger brother Sajid Ali and debutante Archit Kumar, the series has a big star cast consisting of some really talented and promising actors of the Industry. It features Kumud Mishra, Vivek Mushran, Raj Arjun, Pitobash, Himani Shivpuri, Shakti Kumar, Neeraj Kashyap, Gaurav Prajuli, Ajitesh Gupta, Vidya Malvade, Shekhar Suman, and Sandeepa Dhar.
It is produced by Mohit Choudhary and Srusti Jain whereas written by Arif Ali and Sajid Ali. It holds the banners of Window Seat Films and Reliance Entertainment. On the technical front, Rajesh Shukla is cranking the camera while Anand Bhaskar and Ajay Jayanthi have directed the music of the series.
Plot of the show
The show will revolve around the protagonist Dr. Arora who lives in a small town and is known for helping Men and Women regarding their sexual life.
A song titled Mehram, sung by none other than Arijit Singh has also been released and it has crossed more than 4 lakh views on YouTube so far. Its lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil and has music by Niladi Kumaar. Check out the song below:
