Drishyam 2 has broken the box office drought of the Bollywood film industry. It has completed the 10-day run at the box office and still refusing to slow down. It has emerged as the 4th highest-grosser film in the domestic market in 2022 for an outright Hindi film.
It has overtaken the likes of Samrat Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Laal Singh Chaddha, Vikram Vedha, and Gangubai Kathiawadi, so far. The next target of the flick would be to topple the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 biz (Rs 185.92 Crs) from the list to become the 3rd highest-grosser of the year. It is also emerging as one of the highest grosser for the actor Ajay Devgn.

Drishyam 2 Eying 200 Cr domestically
As per the reports, the worldwide collections of the film have reached the vicinity of 200 Cr gross which consists of 171 Cr gross approx in India and 28.58 Cr in the overseas market.
In terms of nett collections, Drishyam 2 has accumulated 143.90 Cr in the domestic market in 11 days. It will be eying next Kartik Aryan’s BB2 lifetime and then target the 200 Cr, milestone. Going by the performance of the movie, it is certain to breach the lifetime of BB2 and then head for 200 Cr in the domestic market.
Box Office Collection Day 11
As per the reports, Drishyam 2 witnessed a major fall in earnings on its second Monday. It accumulated only 96.62L from the pre-sales for Monday by selling over 49.8k tickets.
As per the trade estimations, Drishyam 2 has collected 6 Cr on Mon (day 11) taking its total domestic biz a little below 150 Cr nett. It had an overall 14.99% Hindi occupancy across all the shows.

Drishyam 2 has emerged as the top choice for moviegoers on its 2nd weekend as well, it has clocked in 39.24 Cr this weekend beating Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya by 10 Cr in the weekend race.
