The latest Bollywood release Drishyam 2 is not going to slow down anytime soon. The film opened with a record start and draws a solid first weekend. The thriller has now hit the century at the box office worldwide.
Drishyam 2, which is a sequel to the 2015 cult film Drishyam, stars Ajay Devgn in the main lead role. It was released on Nov 18 on over 4000 screens worldwide, which includes over 3000 screens in India alone. The film marks one of the biggest releases for Ajay Devgn.

Drishyam 2 Box Office 1st Weekend
Ajay starrer clocked in ₹ 15.38 Cr on its first day making it the 2nd highest opener of 2022 after Brahmastra ( ₹ 36 Cr), the day 2 collection of the movie surged to 40.38% for a huge over ₹ 21 crores.
The total 2 days collection of Drishyam 2 stands at ₹ 56.33 Cr gross (₹ 36.97 Cr nett) which includes ₹ 43.62 Cr gross in India and ₹ 12.71 Cr gross overseas.
It has seen a growth of over 25% in earnings on day 3, Sunday for a huge ₹ 27.17 crores. The total three days of the domestic nett collection now stands at around ₹ 64.14 Cr.
Talking about the worldwide box office collections, “Drishyam 2” has accumulated ₹ 95.69 Cr gross in its 1st weekend which includes ₹ 75.69 Cr gross in India and ₹ 20 Cr gross overseas.

Box Office Collection Day 4
Now, as per the reports, Drishyam 2 sees an inevitable fall in collections due to the working day, however, the drop is only 20-25% as compared to its first day, which is rarely good.
As per the trade estimations, Drishyam 2 earns around Rs 11.5 Cr nett on the first Monday (day 4) taking the total collections to over 75 Cr nett, domestically. Going by this, the film has grossed over 100 Cr at the box office worldwide in 4 days.
Drishyam 2 Advance Bookings Day 4
It has seen an inevitable drop in the advance bookings trend due to the weekday. It has sold around 95L tickets in the pre-sales worth 2 Cr for Day 4. However, it is not a big drop compared to Friday.
