Indian audiences love edge seat thriller, Drishyam 2 Box Office success is the prove of this. One of popular critics claimed that there is no action, romance, comedy, punchlines, so how could this film even survive.
And now the same critic congratulating the makers for movie success, obviously Drishyam 2 has potential to kept the audience at the seat. Despite Another much-hyped film went to the theatres, still Drishyam 2 maintains respectful number, and had a great first week.

Drishyam 2 is a wait-worthy sequel to Drishyam (2015), opened with Rs 15.38 Cr on 18th of November, jumped so well on 1st Sat- 21.59 Cr, then Sun- 27.17 Cr. made Rs 64.14 Cr in the first weekend.
The main exciting thing was first Monday test, and film maintained collection in double digit 11.87 Cr, steady in further weekdays, Tuesday- 10.48, Wednesday- 9.55 Cr, Thursday- 8.62 and grand total of a week stand 104.66 Cr.
After reaching 100 Crore in just a week, film had super start of second week with Rs 7.87 Crore and this Box office biz beat new release Bhediya opening day collection.

Advance booking reports for weekend are surprising and the craze for Vijay Salgaonkar seems unexpected now, double digit biz on Saturday and Sunday, the film might cross Rs 145 Cr in ten days.
So the Saturday collection is Rs 14.05 Cr, Sunday will bigger or near 18 Cr. Currently, Drishyam is first choice for this weekend and film has crossed 160 Cr WW.
