Kollywood film industry’s promising actress Aishwarya Rajesh is touching new skies day by day. The actress has a handful of interesting movies with many ace actors. She was last seen in Deva Katta’s Telugu drama film Republic and now the actress is all set for her upcoming drama film Driver Jamun.
It is a woman-centric and out-an-out road drama film that tells the story of a woman cap driver and is directed as well as written by P. Kinslin, who is best known for directing the 2013 Tamil action thriller film Vathikuchi. Driver Jamuna is backed by S.P. Chowthari under his banner 18 Reels.

Actress Aishwarya is playing the titular role, who is a cap driver. The actress prepared for her role in an effective manner by interacting with many female cab drivers, to play the strong female- centric character she observe the body language and mannerisms of them. Reportedly, she herself performed risky sequences without the help of any dupes and special effects.
Along with the leading lady, the film also stars Aadukalam Naren of “Aadukalam” and “Kathai Neram” fame, Abhishek, Sri Ranjani of “Alaipayuthery”, “Anniyan” and “Mozhi” fame, Pandian, Manikandan, Kavitha Bharathi of “Veeramae Vaagai Soodum”, “Raathchasi” fame, and Rajesh in pivotal roles.

This road thriller was to hit theatres on 11 Nov 2022, will be released in major South Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, new date will be announced soon.

If we talk about technical work, Gokul Benoy has taken care of cinematography and editing work has been done by R. Ramar. Don Bala handled the Art Department and VFX Work was done by B.R. Venkatesh. Popular South India music composer M. Ghibran has composed the Soundtrack and score of the film.
Driver Jamuna First Look Posters
The makers of the film revealed its first look posters on Thursday, May 5, 2022. The two posters was launched by Kollywood filmmaker AR Murgadoss and features and Intense and bruised Aishwarya. In the first poster she can be seen in a very serious look while the second poster shows her sipping tea with a white car in the background.
