Multi-starrer science fiction genre film Dune was released in Oct 2021 theatrically, Denis Villeneuve’s directorial this film was much-hyped and collected more than half of the budget before the mega release of the film. It is produced by Mary Parent along with Cale Boyter under the banner of Legendary Pictures.
Duke took the charge of the stewardship of the Dune planet also known as Arrakis, the Dune planet where the universe’s most valuable substance grows namely Melange, which gives the humans supernatural energy.
After consuming the spices called Melange, they can think unthinkable, light travel looks practical, etc, Dune is based on a book of the same name written by Frank Herbert. It is being said that the movie covers half the book, which means the second movie is on its way to showing the remaining parts.

Dune saw its first premiere at the 78th Venice International Film Festival on September 3, 2021. Initially, Dune was scheduled to be released on November 20, 2020, but was postponed to December 18, 2020.
The film was again pushed back owing to the COVID-19 pandemic on October 1, 2021. In late June 2021, Warner Bros. again delayed by three weeks to October 22, 2021, to avoid hassle with No Time to Die.

Dune Music
Three soundtrack albums are to be released for the film, The Dune Sketchbook (Music from the Soundtrack), Dune (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), and The Art and Soul of Dune, Sept 3, Sept 17, and Oct 22, 2021, respectively. Villenueve said Zimmer had spent much time in creating new instruments, seeking new sounds, and appreciated him for his work in the film. Two singles were released, namely, “Paul’s Dream” and “Ripples in the Sand” on July 22.

On September 9, 2020, a teaser trailer was released and the theatrical trailer was released on July 22, 2021. the final trailer of the film was released on 7 Oct 2021 on Warner Bros, Pictures official YouTube channel and it crossed 20 lakh plus views with 60k plus likes.
