Emraan Hashmi starrer supernatural horror film Dybbuk will soon be seen on your television channel. It is the adaptation of the 2017 Mollywood film Ezra starring Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Dybbuk is helmed by Jay Krishnan who directed the original film. It revolves around a married couple who brought a period piece box into their home, which contains a malicious possessing spirit named Dybbuk.

The filming of this project shot in India and Mauritius, Dybbuk had skipped the theatrical release and been opted to direct to digital premiere on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video. Which brought the rights of the film for Rs 36 crores. It was premiered on the platform on 29 October 2021.

The film explores Sam and Maahi a married couple, who goes to Mauritius in order to fetch a new job and live a fresh life, everything goes well until Sam’s wife brings home an antique box, which contains an evil spirit.
Dybbuk will have its World Television Premiere on 5 March 2022 (Saturday) at 8 PM on the entertainment channel SonyMax.

On the technical front, Satya Pomar was onboard for cinematography or Director of Photography, Sandeep Francis handled the editing and the music is composed by Gaurav Dasgupta with the background score of Amor Mohile. Runtime 112 minutes or 1hr 52minutes.
