Ek Thi Begum is finally arriving with its season 2 this month. The crime thriller is based on real-life events and is the continuation of hit season 1 which consists of 14 episodes and was released on 04 May 2020.
Sachin Darekar & Jai Tank directorial Ek Thi Begum 2 is loosely based on the real-life events of Mumbai Mafia Queen Sapna Didi. The show is about vengeance, a woman whose husband gets killed by a powerful man and further she vows to take revenge for her husband’s death.

Ek Thi Begum Plot
In the first season Anuj Sathe who is playing Ashraf Bhatkar, her husband Zaheer got killed by the Mafia don Maqsood, later in the film she vows to take revenge on the mafia don, in between she marriages to a cop called Vikram Bhosale and starts collecting all the information in a file in which she has all the proofs related the crimes of Maqsood, some corrupt politicians and cops.
Further, she got severely injured by the enemies, who were seeking the file from her. The pilot episode of the second season starts from this scene, and it will be interesting to see whether she will avenge the killing of her husband in this season or the makers will take the story to another season?

Distributor MX Player launched its trailer on its official YouTube channel on 20 Sept. 2021 and announced the release date of the show ‘30 Sept 2021′.
The trailer has got 20lakh+ views with 7.4k likes as of now. Fans are appreciating the content and the performance of Anuja Sathe. The show will premiere on 30 Sept on the OTT platform MX Player.
