John-Arjun starrer “Ek Villain Returns” opened with a decent start at the box office with mass audiences coming on board, it showed decent growth on Saturday (Day 2) as well.
It is directed by Mohit Suri who is known for delivering Zeher, Kalyug, Awarapan, Murder 2, Raaz, Aashiqui 2, Malang etc. His latest is the sequel of his 2014 superhit film Ek Villain. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures.

Box Office Collection Day 2
It was steady on the mass circuits on Saturday while multiplexes showed a growth of 7% which helped the overall growth in collections. As per the trade estimation, it collects in the range of Rs 7.5 Cr on day 2 to take the total collections around Rs 14.5 Cr, domestically. It is expected to show the jump in collections on Sunday as well.

Box Office Collection Day 1
The sequel exceeded the expectations on the first day at the box office, it performed really well on the single screens of the mass pockets which helped the film to touch Rs 7 Cr.
As per Bollywood Hungama, Ek Villain Returns accumulated Rs 7.05 Cr on Friday, however, these numbers are not good enough and it needs to gather momentum over the weekend, especially among national chains, for a successful run at the box office. It had a 12.43% overall occupancy on the first day.
