The latest Bollywood release “Ek Villain Returns” has earned in one week what Ajay Devgn’s “Runway 34” had earned in its entire theatrical run domestically. EVR after a decent opening weekend sustained very well on the weekdays even though it saw a big drop on Monday.
The action thriller performed very well at the box office given it got panned by the critics, it continues to hold decent in the mass circuits which are the major contributors to its earnings.

Box Office Collection Week 1
EVR performed above expectations on its opening day and earned Rs 7.05 Cr, further, it showed an upward trend in the collection over the weekend. And with the growth of 20.75% in the earnings on Sun, it managed to garner Rs 9.02 Cr, taking the first-weekend collection to Rs 23.54 Cr.
However, it witnessed a major drop of 66.52% on Monday at the box office, it continues to hold well through the weekdays. As per box office India, the film draws in most of the collections from the mass belts, especially from the UP circuit. If the film holds well on Friday which it is expected to, it will surely see a decent second weekend as well.

Box Office Collection Day 6
As per the trade estimates, EVR collects in the range of Rs 1.8-2 Cr on day 6 to take its total collections in the vicinity of Rs 33 crores in India. Although the collections of the Mohit Suri directorial are on the lower side still it will be considered very good, as its opening week collection is higher than the lifetime of other recent biggie releases like Anek, Hit, Heropanti 2, Shabaash Mithu, Dhaakad, Jersey to name a few.
