The trailer of much-anticipated follow-up of 2014 action thriller film Ek Villain, titled Ek Villain Return is out. After the huge success of the first film that starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Reteish Deshmukh, the film’s director Mohit Suri decided to deliver its sequel.
Ek Villain Returns is set to be released theatrically on July 29, 2022 and it has a completely different star cast from the previous film. It stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in the lead roles. Actor J.D. Chakravarthy is playing a police officer in this film.
The film is jointly bankrolled by big banners- T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures. The filming started on March 1, 2021 and wrapped a year after on March 24, 2022.

Ek Villain Returns Trailer Out
The action-packed trailer of the film starts with actor J.D. Charkravarthy reminding of the character Rakesh Mahadakar, the murderer of 18 girls, played by Riteish Deshmukh in the first film. He adds that we all are probably thinking that the story is over but after 8 years “Ek Villain Returns”, means the same suspense and drama is coming our way.
Soon after the trailer throw us into a new universe where there is a serial killer who murdered only those girls who have one-sided lovers and wanted to be a Massiah of heartbroken people.
Further it directly jumps to show us the love between John Abraham and Disha as well as Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. The trailer also shows some high-octane action sequences and a few face-offs between Arjun and John.

Tara and Disha Adds Suspense
Bollywood Divas Tara and Disha along with showing glamour, also adds suspense in the movie and you get really confused as to who is the villain in this story. Overall, the trailer looks promising and we also heard a reprise version of Ankit Tiwari’s superhit song Galliyan from the first movie, in the trailer.
