Directed by Carey Williams, Emergency is an upcoming American satirical thriller film that has the screenplay of KD Davila. The film is a feature-length adaptation of Williams and Davila’s 2018 short film of the same name.
It is jointly bankrolled by Marty Bowen, John Fischer, and Issac Klausner under the banner of Temple Hill Entertainment. If we talk about technical work, Michael Dallatorre has been taking care of cinematography, and editing work is done by Lam T. Ngyuen. The film has music and background score by Rene G. Boscio.

Emergency Theatrical & OTT Release Date
The makers of this satirical film have revealed its release date and now it is confirmed that it be released theatrically on May 20, 2022, on limited screens and will be distributed by Amazon Studios. Following the theater release, it will be premiered on streaming giant Amazon Prime on May 27, 2022.
The film also had its premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival which took place digitally from January 20 to 30, this year, and Davila earned the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award for his excellent screenplay.

Prime Video released the trailer of the film on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. The trailer follows three college students Kunle and his best friend Sean who are about to have the most epic party of their lives. But an unfortunate event alters their plans when they find a white girl passed out on the living room floor. Faced with the risks of calling the police under threatening optics, Kunle and Sean along with their Latino roommate Carlos must find a way to de-escalate the situation before it’s too late.
