Escaype Live is an upcoming thriller series which is created, directed and written by Siddharth Kumar Tewary, the director and creator of many shows like Mahabharat (Star Plus), Suryaputra Karn, Karmaphal Daata Shani (Colors TV), Porus (SET India), Ram Siya ke Love Kush and Radhakrishn.
Jaya Mishra is the co-creator while Tewary’s One Life Studios is producing the series along with Gayatri Gill and Rahul Kumar Tewary. Dialogues of the series are written by Vinod Sharma, Amol Surve and Ranveer Pratap Singh. Gaurav Banerjee, Nikhil Madhok and Avani Saxena of Hotstar are serving as the executive producers in the series.
If we talk about technical work, Aseem Mishra and Murzy Pagdiwala have taken care of cinematography while Chandan Arora is handling editing. The soundtrack and original score are composed by Advait Nemlekar. Sham Kaushal, who is the father of actor Vicky Kaushal is serving as the action director.
Escaype Live OTT Release Date
Disney+ Hotstar has revealed the official release date of the series. It is now confirmed that the nine episodic series will premiere on May 20, 2022. The streamer will premiere all episodes on the same day.

Escaype Live Trailer Out
On Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, Disney + Hotstar dropped the official trailer of this “first-of-its kind social thriller to India”. The 2.5 minute long trailer chronicles the realities of social media in today’s time. Set in the landscape of contemporary India, it shows the different journeys of six people, as they struggle to win fame and fortune via a video streaming social media app called Escaype Live which promises hefty money to the winning contestant.
The trailer shows how these six individuals, with different paths but one goal, cross every boundary and limit to produce viral content in a bid to win a hefty amount of Rs. 3 Crore announced by actor Javed Jaferi, who seems to be one of the founders of Escaype Live. We can also see the glimpse of actor Siddharth who seems to be playing an employee at Escaype Live.
