After marking her digital debut with the 2021 war film Bhuj, the Dabangg actress is now gearing for her OTT web series debut. The series was earlier being called with the tentative title Fallen.
Dahaad will be a crime-drama genre, in which Sonakshi will be essaying a tough cop role. Dahaad is reportedly based on a true story of a conman, who is accused of marrying women and tricking them out of the money.
Before releasing in India, the series premieres at Berlin International Film Festival (BIFF), makers share the photos from the red carpet, attended by lead cast and makers.
New Title
The series was earlier being called with the tentative title Fallen in media, later in April 2022 the digital platform Amazon with the announcement of its 40+ series/films also unveiled the new title for the series.
Star Cast of Fallen
Sonakshi Sinha will be playing the cop Anjali Bhatt, Vijay Varma, Sohum Shah, and Gulshan Devaiah will be seen playing pivotal roles in the series. Reportedly, Sinha will be seen doing the bike stunts in the film.
Fallen OTT Release Date
Talking about the release date, makers had resumed the shooting in Dec 2020 and concluded the same in Mar 2022, most of the shooting took place in Rajasthan, it is expected that the series will be released soon on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
Fallen Makers
Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti serve as the creator of the show, it is made under the banner Farhan’s Excel Entertainment and Zoya-Reema’s Tiger baby films. Reema, Zoya, Farhan, and Ritesh Sidhwani also serve as the executive producer of the web series.
