Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is the third film in the Fantastic Beasts series and the eleventh installment in the Wizarding World Franchise. Earlier it was being said that the FB film series will be a trilogy, but the makers later announced that the series would be a sequencing event between 1926-1945 and reportedly there are two more films that are in development.
Pirates of the Caribbean fame Johnny Depp will not be seen in the upcoming third part on the account of the negativity around his defamation trial Depp Vs Newsgroup Newspaper Ltd owing to this the distributors had asked Depp resignation in Nov 2020, thereby Mads Mikkelsen replaced Depp’s role in the film.
David Yales, who earlier directed two movies of the series, also helmed this project, screenplay is written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. FB: The secrets of Dumbledore are backed by David Heyman, J K Rowling, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram, and Tim Law and made under the banner of Heyday Films.

Release Date & OTT Premiere
FB: The secrets of Dumbledore is to release in Nov this year but the makers put off the film on the account of the Covid-19 pandemic. In Spet Makers announced that the film will be released theatrically on 15 April 2022.

In U.K and Ireland, it will be released a week early on 8 April 2022. It will be released on the American leading streaming platform HBO Max after 45 days of its theatrical release.
