The 68th Filmfare Awards 2023 are finally over, and this year some of the biggest names from Bollywood attended the award night. Some of the biggest and most celebrated stars of Bollywood came together for this historic award function.
The Filmfare Awards were first introduced by the Times Group in 1954, and initially they were called “Clare Awards” The first Filmfare Award Ceremony happened on March 21, 1954, at the Metro Theatre in Mumbai, and there were only five awards presented in the categories of best film, best director, best actor, best actress, and best music director.

Filmfare Awards 2023 Date and Venue
The 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2023 held on April 27. Earlier the Times Group revealed during a press conference that this year’s Filmfare Awards will be held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Even last year, the 67th Filmfare Awards ceremony was hosted on August 30, 2022, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Filmfare Awards 2023 Host
The 68th Filmfare Awards held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan hosted the award function. Salman Khan was also par of the press conference that was done by the Times Group for the announcement of the 68th Hyundai Filmfare Awards in 2023.
At the news conference, Salman Khan was the honoured guest. Along with Salman Khan, other panellists at the press gathering included Filmfare Editor Mr. Jitesh Pillai, Mr. Deepak Lamba (CEO, Worldwide Media), and Mr. Tarun Garg (COO, Hyundai Motor India).
Apart from Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana and Maniesh Paul also hosted the award night.

The 68th Filmfare Awards ceremony of 2023 held on April 27, 2023, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The awards ceremony will premiere on Colors Television on April 28 at 9 p.m. Also, the OTT premiere of the 2023 Filmfare Awards will be on Colors Cineplex.
