Filmfare Awards initially commenced as an entity that honoured excellence in Hindi cinema. Following that, it also includes South Indian cinema, Marathi, Bengali, and Punjabi cinema.
Two years ago, it also added OTT Awards to honour and celebrate the best artists and content creators in the dynamic Over-the-Top (OTT) space. The response that came out after this step was fabulous, as both creators and viewers gave it a big thumbs up.
Some of the big winners of the previous editions are: Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story; Gullak Season 2; The Family Man 2; Paatal Lok; Panchayat; etc.

About the 2022 Edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards
After the phenomenal success of the first two seasons, the Filmfare OTT Awards is back with its third season. This year’s event will honour the artists and content creators of Hindi web originals that were released between August 1, 2021, and July 31, 2022.

Entries & Nominations
The process of submitting entries for the prestigious event is underway, and OTT platforms as well as production houses can send their entries across various categories for nominations. All entries submitted by production houses should be approved by the OTT platform on which the show is hosted. The last date for entry submission is November 10, 2022.
Filmfare OTT Awards 2022 Date & Venue
The first edition of the Filmfare OTT Awards was held on December 19, 2020, and the second edition was held on December 9, 2021. Both editions were held in Mumbai, and now that the third edition is here, everyone is curious to know about the venue and the date of the event.
Although Filmfare hasn’t announced any details about these things, as per media sources, like the previous 2 seasons, this one is also going to be held in mid-December, in Mumbai.
