Directed and written by Manu Anand, FIR is a Tamil action drama film which turned-out-to be a sleeper hit at the Box-Office.
FIR starring young actor Vishnu Vishal in the lead role, theatrically released on February 11, 2022 and was opened to positive reviews from critics as well as the audience.
In the film Vishnu Vishal plays the role of a chemical engineer Irfan Ahmed/Faizal Ibrahim Raiz (FIR), an innocent man, who was falsely accused of terrorism.
The film’s theatrical distribution rights were acquired by Red Giant Movies and Abhishek Pictures while it was produced by the lead actor Vishnu Vishal’s own banner VV Studioz in association with Shubhra and Aryan Ramesh.

FIR OTT Release Date
Due to the excellent performance by the entire star cast and with the amazing story line, this action thriller film succeeded in pushing audiences into theaters and collected Rs. 24 Crore at the BO.
After a successful theatrical release, the film is streaming online from March 12 on streaming giant Amazon Prime Video, where it witnessed a massive viewership not only in Tamil but also on Telugu version.

FIR TV Premiere
The people who didn’t make it to the theaters or haven’t watched the movie on Prime yet, here is a good news for you and that is the film will soon have its TV premiere as the satellite rights have been acquired by Star Vijay.
Earlier, it was said that the film will be aired on TV through Kalaignar TV channel but now it is confirmed that the film will premiere on Star Vijay.
Although the release is not confirmed, we can also expect the announcement regarding this from the film’s makers in the upcoming days.
