The Production Headquarters Ltd., a United Kingdom based film company announced the slate of its upcoming projects on the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which is held in Cannes France.
The British Indian film is being helmed by Nathalia Syam while its scripts is written by Nathalia’s sister Neetha Syam and it will show the story of a father, who is an illegal immigrant in the UK and is searching for his missing daughter while evading the police.
It will be bankrolled by Mohaan Nadaar is bankrolling the project under the banner of his London based production house The Production Headquarters Ltd. Some parts of the film was shot in Kerala.
Footprints On Water Star Cast
The film stars actor Adil Hussain in the lead role. He is known for his work in movies like The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Life of Pi. Adil is a recipient of National Film Awards (Special Jury). Along with Adil, the film also stars Nimisha Sajayan, Lena Kumar of Saajan Bakery and Antonio Aakeel in pivotal roles. Nimisha and Lena are playing the daughters of Adil.

If we talk about technical work, Alagappann is serving as the director of photography in the film while Suresh Rai is handling the technical work. Resul Pookutty is the sound designer while Thomas Kantelinen has composed the music and background music of the film.
Footprints On Water Release Date
As per reports, the film will have a theatrical release and the makers will send it to the international festivals. The official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
