Bollywood young and promising star Kartik Aryan has gained a lot of popularity following the release of his blockbuster horror comedy film Bhool Bhualaiyaa 2, back with his another direct OTT release after Dhamaka (Netflix).
The film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was released on May 20, 2022 left big budget films like Prithviraj, Heropanti 2, Ram Setu and others behind.
On the other hand, after the success of BB2, the actor has been getting some amazing projects, including Freddy, which was wrapped last year. The actor is again making headlines due to unique film selection, lover boy image to psycho dentist.

Freddy Star Cast
Directed by “Veere Di Wedding” and “Plan A Plan B” fame Shashanka Ghosh, the film stars Alaya Ebrahim Furniturewala, popularly known as Alaya F in the female lead role opposite Kartik Aaryan.
Alaya is known for her debut film Jawaani Jaaneman, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Freddy also stars international actress and model Jeniffer Piccinato, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu, in a pivotal role.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan has two important projects in the pipeline: Shehzada, which is remake of Allu Arjun starrer Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and Satya Prem Ki Katha.
Freddy Release Date & OTT
Freddy was always meant to be an OTT release rather than a traditional big-screen release. It was also reported that despite the popularity of the actor, none of the OTT giants were ready to release the Kartik Aryan starrer Freddy.
Later, it was reported that Disney+Hotstar had acquired the streaming rights of the film for a whopping amount of Rs. 70 crore. Later, Disney confirmed that it will give a direct release to Freddy.
