R Madhavan’s long-awaited film Rocketry- The Nambi Effect will be appearing on the big screens next week. It is based on the life
of the former scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO, Nambi Narayan, who was falsely accused of espionage. Madhavan wrote and helmed the project as well. It was in development since 2012, and after all hurdles it finally got its release date locked for 1 July 2022.
Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer Rashtra Kavach OM backed by Zee Studios and Ahmed Khan’s Paper Doll Entertainment Production. It is helmed by Kapil Verma. The latter has given the audience the best of the action, which can be witnessed in the trailer of the film. It will be a treat to watch for the mass audience. Gearing up for release next Friday.
There has been a dearth of footfalls at the ticket windows for the past some weeks as far as Telugu box office is concerned. If leave Major, no film able to charm the cinephiles, latest releases like Ante Sundariniki, Virata Parvam, Godse, 7 days 6 Nights failed to attract the audience.
Now all eyes are on Macho Star Gopichand’s Pakka Commercial. Will it be able to revive the industry back on the track is remained to be seen.
4- D Block (Tamil)
Arulnithi’s D-Block is based on a college drama, it helmed by YouTuber Vijay Kumar Rajendran. Avantika Mishra (Maaya, Meeku Maathrame Cheptha) will play the lead actress opposite Arul in the flick. The latter is playing a college student role, he said to be knocked off 7 kilos for the role.
5- Minions: The Rise of Gru
Hollywood computer-animated film Minions: The Rise of Gru will be released in Indian cinemas in all four languages, Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu upcoming Friday.
The film will feature spectacular action than any film in the franchise’s history as claimed by the makers. It is backed by Chris Meledandri (Illumination founder and CEO) with Janet Healy and Chris Renaud.
