Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is doing very well at the box office, the film took the 2nd highest start for a Hindi film in 2022. And now it is heading for a rocking 1st week.
It will be interesting to watch which upcoming Friday release gives stiff competition to Ajay starrer. Below is the list of selected biggies slated to release in cinemas and OTT platforms like Netflix this week.
1- Bhediya
Bhediya is a thriller starring Varun Dhawan set to arrive in cinemas on Friday in three languages Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The advance bookings of the film have been opened and it is suggesting a promising start.
The trailer of the movie was unveiled a month ago and promises a solid entertainer with great CGI and VFX.
2- Triple Riding- Kannada
Kannada film Triple Riding will be competing with around three other Kannada movies named Raymo, Saddu Vicharane, and Spooky College. Among this Golden star, Ganesh’s film looks like will be the top choice for Kannada moviegoers.
The actor is paring with three leading actresses Aditi Prabhudeva, Rachana Inder, and Megha Shetty.
3- The Swimmers-Netflix
The upcoming Netflix drama The Swimmers is the story of two siblings who made history through sports. It is directed by Sally El Hosaini and stars real-life siblings Nathalie, Manal Issa, it also has Ahmed Malek, Matthias Schweighofer, Ali Suliman, and Kinda Alloush among others. Comes to Netflix on Nov 23.
4- Kora Kagazz
Kora Kagazz is helmed by Nawneet Ranjan featuring Rajat Kapoor, Swastika Mukherjee and Aishani Yadav in key roles along with various child artists. It revolves around three lost souls Divya, Vivek and Sandhya, together they rise above the challenges around them. Releases on Nov 25th.
5- Who’s a Good Boy?-Netflix
Who’s a Good Boy is Netflix’s upcoming teen movie which brings to us the hardships of today’s teenagers. It is directed by Ihtzi Hurtado and stars Sebastian Dante, Yanel Stevan, Grettell Valdez, Sirena Ortiz and Harold Azuara in the key roles.
It revolves around a teen Cheema and who has a mission to date the new girl at his school, Claudia.
6- Love Today
Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest smash hit Tamil movie will be hitting the theatres in Telugu version on Nov 25th. The small film has grossed the 50 Cr mark at the box office worldwide in just 15 days. And still continues to rock the box office in TN. It will dominate the BO south with the Telugu release.
7- Agent Kannayiram
Santhanam starrer detective comedy-thriller Agent Kannayiram will be hitting the cinemas on Nov 25. It is a Tamil film directed by Manoj Beedha and a remake of Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya (Telugu film-2019). Manoj along with directing also bankrolled the movie under the banner Labyrinth Films.
8- The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special- Disney+Hotstar
Marvel studios, a special presentation, The Guardian of the Galaxy Holiday Special will debut on the platform on Nov 25. It is directed by James Gunn for Disney+ as the conclusion of phase 4 of the MCU.
The 44mins film revolves around the galaxy team as they celebrate Christmas and search for a present for their leader Peter Quill.
