Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh aka Turbanator starring ‘Friendship’ is soon coming to the digital platform after their theatrical release on 17 Sept 2021.
it is Singh’s debut movie as a main lead, this Tamil language film is a sports comedy genre movie directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya.
it is a comical tale on school friendships, JPR along with Stalin produced the film, made under the Seantoaa Films with the collaboration of Cinemass Studio.
Makers have chosen Harbhajan as a main lead in the film after he got much popularity among the Tamil people while playing for Csk (Chennai Super Kings), he often does tweets in Tamil and is very interactive with Tamil spectators.

- Harbhajan Singh is playing the main lead in the film as a college student, namely Bhagat Singh aka Bhajji
- Losliya Mariyanesan is playing the lead actress opposite Harbhajan, she is a Sri Lankan news anchor, she gained popularity in the Tamil state after participating in the Bigg Boss Tamil season 3.
- Tamil actor Arjun is playing a lawyer Sylender role in the film.
- Sathish is Bhajji’s best friend as Jeeva, doing the supporting role.
- Vettukilli Bala is playing Brownie
- Monika Thomas Puthuran in the role of Madhu
M.S. Bhaskar, J. Sathish Kumar, Venkat Subha, and Robin Prabhu are also appearing in the movie. C. Santha Kumar has done the cinematography in the film.
Friendship Budget & Digital Rights
Films production started in march 2020 and ended by Dec 2020, the film is expected to be made of Rs 4-5 crores (Approx.) of budget, and it is also being said that the digital rights of the movie acquired by Amazon Prime Video in Rs. 20 crores though the makers didn’t disclose anything, neither on the production cost nor about digital rights of the film.

the trailer of the film was released on 6 Sept 2021 on Lahari Music/ T-series official YouTube channel, it has been viewed over 22 lakhs time as of now. though the film didn’t get a good response from the viewers when it is first released in theatres, let’s see how the digital audience responds to this comical sports drama.
Music is composed by D.M. Udhayakumar, there is a title song in the film namely Superstar sang by Silambarasan, the song is a tribute to Rajinikanth. the film will premiere on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on 15 October 2021.

Friendship Plot
the film revolves around some school friends who enjoy their friendships while being in college, in midst of this a powerful politician makes the entry and the movie starts taking a ride from here, further in the film, students of the whole college get united to fight the power of minister. it is based on the 2018 Malayalam language film Queen.
