Gaalodu OTT Release Date, Reviews, Box Office & More About this Instant Popular Film


Directed by Raja Sekar Reddy Pulicharla, mass action-entertainment film Gaalodu has been released in theatres and is garnering a mixed to positive response from audiences as well as critics.

The Telugu film starring Sudheer Ananda, popularly known as Sudigali Sudheer, had a bumper opening at the box office among the new releases on November 18, 2022. The film marks the film debut of Sudheer, who rose to prominence with his performance in the television show Jabardasth.

In the film, Sudheer Anand plays a young boy named Raja, while Gehna Sippy plays his love interest, Shukla. Apart from them, the film also stars Sapthagiri, Shakalaka Shankar, Prudvi, and Satya Krishna in key roles.

Gaalodu Plot

The plot of the film revolves around Raju, a.k.a. Gaalodu, who is a carefree villager, whose life was going smoothly until he got involved in a clash with the son of his village’s Sarpanch and killed him accidentally.

Fearing the aftermaths of the crime he committed, he fled to Hyderabad and fell in love with a girl named Shukla there, who hired him as her driver. Later, she also fell in love with him, but her father didn’t accept their relationship. How the couple overcomes various roadblocks in their love story forms the crux of the story.

Gaalodu BO Response

The film had a decent opening at the box office and received a positive response from the audience, with all praise going to Sudheer’s exemplary performance with his acting, dancing, and action sequences. However, its screenplay and storyline were criticised.

The film witnessed housefuls on the opening day in several areas of Telugu speaking states and grossed over Rs. 1 crore. On the second and third days, it grossed around Rs. 1.14 crore and Rs. 1.61 crore, respectively. The worldwide gross collection of the movie is Rs. 4.06 crore, and it is going to become a clean hit soon.


Gaalodu OTT Release Date

As per media reports, two big digital streaming platforms, Aha and Amazon Prime Video, are in talks with the makers to grab the deal of the post theatrical OTT rights of the film. However, they are yet to finalise the one between these two.
