“Gandhada Gudi” or “GG” is getting rave reviews from critics and Kannada cinephiles. The docu-drama took a big start in the home market and early trends suggest that the film will remain stable throughout the weekend.
Gandhada Gudi is directed by award-winning filmmaker Amoghavarsha JS, he also features in the film alongside Puneeth Rajkumar. It is produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar under PRK Productions and Mudskipper.
It is outdoing Kantara in the daily earnings in the home state. However, the latter has completed its one-month run and is nearing its ending run at the box office.

Box Office Collection Day 2
If the advance bookings of the film are concerned, GG will stay steady on Sunday as well. That means it will add another 5 crores nett in its earnings.
As per the trade estimates, GG collected 4.3-5 crores on Saturday, the total two days nett collections of the movie now stands at 8.65-9 crores nett. It will be considered very good numbers given the scale of the movie.
The flick is estimated to be made on a budget of 8-10 crores. And it will have to churn out around 15-18 crores nett to be called itself a successful venture.
Advance Bookings Reports Day 2
Appu’s film is showing a stable trend in advance bookings, the flick fetched another 1.34 crore from advance bookings for day 2. It sold upwards of 60000 tickets for the second day.
