The biographical crime drama Gangubai Kathiawadi’s theatrical run seems not going to stop anytime soon. The film had a successful opening weekend in the domestic as well as overseas market and not only this Alia Bhatt starrer is doing amazing business on weekdays too.
It had minted Rs 10.50 crores on the opening day, Feb 25, and shown growth on the following day where it minted Rs 13.32 crores. SLB directorial again saw the surge in the footfalls on Sunday, it amassed Rs 15.30 crores Nett at the domestic market.
The big-ticket film by proving wrong all the claims of the trade analysts of weekday collection accumulated Rs 8.19 crores at the domestic market. The film also had a decent collection at the overseas market, garnered Rs 20.75 crores gross collection on the opening weekend.
With Monday (Feb 28) collection GK reaches Rs 47.31 crores at the Box office India and 5th day was Mahashivratri, Hindi audiences shower love again on this film and it collected Rs 10.01 Crore, total gets closer 60 Cr.

Gangubai has a strong chance to hit the Rs 100 crore mark if it maintains the same momentum in week 2 also. The Tuesday collection is based on our early estimates the final report is yet to come, however, we will be up to date with this article whenever the final reports of Day 5 come in.
