Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal is set to return with the biggest project of his career which is a bilingual sports drama film. It is titled as Gatta Kusthi in Tamil and Matti Kusthi in Telugu. It is said to be based on a popular wrestling form in Kerala.
The film is directed by Chella Ayyuvu in his feature directorial debut, and it was announced in April 2022 by Vishnu Vishal via a motion poster. It is produced by the actor’s Vishnu Vishal Studioz in association with “Mass Maharaja” Ravi Teja’s RT Teamworks.

The highly anticipated sports drama film stars promising actor Vishnu Vishal in the lead role as a wrestler, and it is the third sports film for the actor after Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu and Jeeva.
The actor’s most recent release is the action thriller film FIR: Faizal Ibrahim Raiz, which received rave reviews and emerged as a blockbuster. Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi will be playing the female lead role in the film.
On the technical front, the film has Richard M. Nathan and Prasanna G.K. The film’s music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran. It is co produced by Shubhra and Aryan Ramesh, whereas Seetharaman, Sridhar Varma, and Vindhya Reddy are serving as the film’s executive producers.

Kollywood superstar Dhanush launched the first look of the film, which features Vishnu Vishal, a dedicated wrestler. It shows Vishnu Vishal with a toned physique, and it seems the character played by him will surely surprise the fans of the promising actor.

The film is going to have a grand theatre release. Though the makers haven’t announced the official release date of the film, it is expected to be released by the end of 2022.
