Mohan Raja’s directorial Godfather which stars Chiranjeevi despite having a dismal run at the box office has crossed 100 crores at the box office worldwide. The political action drama was released on Oct 5 in cinemas in Telugu and Hindi.
The flick opened to mixed reviews from the critics, it is a mid-week release movie and had a decent extended opening weekend. However, it saw a huge drop on its first Monday in earnings in the home market.

Box Office Collection Day 10
Godfather again touched the 50L marks in the advance bookings, the flick clocked in over 50L from the ticket sales on Fri from the advance ticket bookings. It was expected to take a jump in collections if its occupancy reports are to go by, it witnessed 16.39% Telugu occupancy rates during the morning, noon, evening and night shows which are around 4% more than the occupancy rate of the previous day.
As per the trade estimations, it collects 1.25 Cr gross on Fri taking the total worldwide bizz of Godfather over 100 crores.
Crosses 100 Cr WW
If Telugu trade circle reports are to be believed, Godfather has grossed 100.25 crores gross worldwide with 55 crores+ shares. Nonetheless, the flick still needs to recover the bulk of shares to emerge as a commercial success.

Godfather Box Office Hindi
In its extended first week of 9 days, it has garnered Rs 7.7 crores in the Hindi version. It took a start of 1 crore at the box office in the northern belt. Godfather Box office Hindi day-wise: Day 1 (Rs 1.05 Cr), Day 2 (Rs 0.75 Cr), Day 3 (Rs 0.9 Cr), Day 4 (Rs 1.35 Cr), Day 5 (Rs 1.55 Cr), Day 6 (Rs 0.65 Cr), Day 7 (Rs 0.57 Cr), Day 8 (Rs 0.48 Cr), Day 9 (Rs 0.4 Cr).

Godfather is directed and written by Mohan Raja and backed by R. B Choudary and N.V Prasad. As per the reports, Godfather is made with a budget of 90 crores and Chiranjeevi alone charged 50% of the budget as his salary which is 45 crores. The Telugu trade reports state that Godfather has done 91 crores in pre-release business by selling theatrical rights worldwide.
