“Godfather” has turned out to be a flop affair at the box office in terms of losses incurred by the distributors. It opened with rave reviews and the WOM was also decent among the masses still it failed to translate this into box office numbers.
It was expected to break the box office drought for the actor but now it seems things have turned out to be miserable for the legendary actor, yet again. Now all eyes will be on his next Mega 154, which is said to be facing a clash with Prabhas’s Adipurush. It was recently reported that the dubbing work for the former began recently.

Box Office Collection Day 13
Godfather clocked in 24.82L from the advance bookings for day 13, of which 24.3L came in from Telugu and 50000+ came in from Hindi. Last Friday, it saw below 1 crore figures coming in at the box office though it witnessed growth over Sat and Sun.
Now, as per the trade reports, it earns below 60L on its second Monday (Day 13). Taking the overall nett domestic collection of Godfather over 71.5 crores.

Talking about the box office worldwide, as per the BO tracker T2BLive, Godfather has crossed the 100 crore gross mark at the box office.
The overall box office collection of the flick stands at Rs 104.10 crores. Most of the earnings of Chiranjeevi’s film came from the home market Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It has grossed 69.5crores+ in AP-TG out of which Nizam, Ceeded, and UA emerged as the best performing areas for the flick.
Godfather to suffer over 30 crore loss
As per Andhraboxoffice.com, the theatrical rights of Godfather were sold at 91 crores and the breakeven target for the flick was set at 92 crores which was a reasonable price. Conversely, Chiranjeevi’s film struggles at the box office, it has churned out around 57 crores shares only.
It still needs to recover around 35 crore shares which will be an uphill task for the film who has started seeing its daily earnings below the 1 crore nett mark. The distributors will have to face losses of over 30 crores.
