The latest Telugu release Godfather is riding on rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film has grossed over 50 crores in just two days, it still has three more days left in its extended opening weekend of 5 days.
It is performing very well in the home market (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), in two days the gross collections of the film has reached the vicinity of 35 crores, there.

Godfather needs 44 Crs to break even
The theatrical rights of Godfather had been sold at Rs 70.50 Cr in Telugu states and the breakeven target was valued at Rs 71 crores. It has accumulated over 27 crores of shares so far in AP-TG. And now needs only 43.65 crores distributor’s shares to emerge as a clean hit.
However, the performance of the flick in the remaining days of the first weekend will decide whether it will cross the BE target or not.
Box Office Collection Day 3
The drop in the collection on the 2nd and 3rd day is normal for a mid-week release film. However, it performed above par even after the drop on the 2nd day at the box office. It witnessed only a 30% drop on Thu if it shows the same momentum over the weekend. It will easily cross the break-even mark to emerge as a clean hit.
Now, as per the early trade estimations, it draws in around 10 crores on Day 3 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Taking its 3days gross AP-TG total around 45 crores.
Godfather Advance Bookings Report Day 3
Talking about its advance bookings, Godfather has seen another drop in bookings on Day 3. It collected 1.47 crores through ticket sales on Friday, of which, it draws in most from the Telugu states Rs 1.30 Cr. The advance bookings in Hindi are minimal as it sold only around 9000 tickets for day 3.
