GLS was supposed to release on 3 June 2021, but owing to covid situations it couldn’t have been possible, and the film’s release was postponed after that the fans of Keerthy Suresh were demanding the OTT release of GLS.

Premise
Good Luck Sakhi (GLS) is a romantic sports drama that revolves around Sakhi (Keerthy) who allegedly brings bad luck given her fiance’s demise prior to marriage, she later joins the Shooting competition and represents her state in the National tournaments, Fans are saying that it will mark her second National film award.
Theatrical Release Date
The shooting of Good Luck Sakhi commenced in April 2019 and after on & off production due to the novel corona pandemic, it finally concluded on Sept 2020. It was shot in the parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra State.
Following this it was scheduled to release on June 2021 but got postponed owing to various reasons, on 15 Nov, makers finally announced the official Release Date that is 10 Dec 2021 but postponed again to 31st Dec 2021, postponed again due to corona situations.
Now the film gets a release date of 28 Jan 2022, which seems final release date. It will be dubbed in two other languages of the south, Tamil and Malayalam.
OTT Release Date
Though there is no official announcement by the makers about its digital release but the way every Indian film is opting for the digital release ASAP after their theatrical release.
We have seen it with the Thalaivi, Sooryavanshi, Doctor, etc. Good luck Sakhi is also likely to premiere on the OTT platform after a month of its theatrical release. Amazon Prime Video has bagged rights to this film, fans can watch it on Prime, save the date 12 Feb 2022.

Recently on Nov 8 makers have released the title song from the album of Bad luck Sakhi on Mango Music official YouTube channel, crossed 45 lakhs plus views in 10 days with 53 thousand likes in it, listeners are appreciating the composition of the song which is done by Devi Sri Prasad aka DSP, it is sung by Hari Priya, Sameera Bharadwaj & MLR Karthikeyan, and penned by Shreemani.

The teaser trailer of it was also being liked by the viewers was released almost 1 yr ago on the occasion of Independence Day, it has been viewed over 1.2 crore times with 1.4 lakhs likes, the trailer starts with Keerthy’s wedding but soon after her fiance died before there marriage, people start taunting her for the bad luck.
Further in the trailer, Keerthy is seen romancing with Aadhi, later she starts training for the national level game of shooting coached by Jagapathi, the trailer ends with the patriotic song ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’ which surely will give you goosebumps.

Talking about Keerthy’s future projects Apart from GLS she had completed her two upcoming films shooting, one is the Malayalam language Marakkar starring Mohan Lal, and the other Tamil film Saani Kaayidham.
She is also going to be seen in Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Maher Ramesh’s directorial Bhola Shankar both films are currently in the production phase.
