Amitabh Bachchan-Rashmika Mandanna starrer “Goodbye” opened to rave reviews from the critics. It is directed and written by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, Good Co. and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Pushpa fame Rashmika is marking her Bollywood debut through Goodbye, the actress is receiving a lot of accolades for her performance in the flick. It is a family comedy-drama where the death of a key family member reunites others to find a bond that they seem to have forgotten.

Box Office Collection Day 1
The trailer of the flick garnered a lot of eyeballs and going by the same, the content promises good merit. As per the trade estimations, Goodbye opens on a low note, the film collected Rs 1.5 crores on the first day. it is similar to Amitabh’s Jhund day 1. However, the business of the flick is expected to grow over the weekend due to word of mouth.
Talking about the box office clash, Brahmastra has already run out of its fuel, Goodbye is locking horns with Vikram Vedha which is doing decent at the box office but on the lower side. And the good thing is the latter caters to a different audience, so the Big B starrer has an open week to perform until Ayushmann’s Doctor G arrives.
Goodbye certified by the censor board
The run time of the Big B starrer is 144.24 minutes or 2hrs 24mins 24sec. It passed with a U certificate by the CBFC board on 3 October 2022. Along with Senior Bachchan and Rashmika, it features Neena Gupta, Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, and Elli AvrRam among others.

Goodbye received positive reviews
Vikas Bahl-directed received rave reviews from the critics, they praised the movie for the emotional sequences and the performances of the main leads. Murtuza Iqbal of Bollywoodlife rated 3/5 stars, Koimoi’s Subham Kulkarni rated it 3 out of 5 stars, Ganesh Aaglave from the firstpost gave 3.5 stars out of 5, Shreejit Shelar of Spotboye gave 4 out of 5 stars. Renuka Vyavahare gave the flick 3/5 stars.
