Dharma Production’s much awaited dance drama is finally confirmed for the premiere, June 2022 scheduled this film failed to get a suitable slot as back to back Hindi Movies facing failure, films like Ram Setu, Thank God, Samrat Prithviraj and others collapsed at Box Office.
Posters featuring leads Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani were released in November 2021, and the makers already decided the theatrical release date ’10 Jun 2022′ but post COVID-19 things got changes for the movies.

Rising star Vicky Kaushal’s film is now officially confirmed for digital premiere, as the producer and actor share hilarious video where they discussing the theme of their dance film, Vicky is expecting pure Dharma masala but Karan Johar explaining something else.

Govinda Naam Mera features Uri: The Surgical Strike actor Vicky Kaushal in the lead role of Govinda Waghmare, with Bhumi Pednekar playing the role of Vicky’s wife and Kiara Advani in the role of Vicky’s girlfriend.
The film seems to be in similar lines with the typical Pati, Patni, Aur Woh story, where Bhumi Pednekar is the wife and Kiara Advani is the girlfriend, and we see Vicky juggling between the two and how he ends up in a dilemma.
The film seems to be full of fun, confusion, and lots of chaos, as tweeted by Karan Johar, where he introduced the character of Vicky Kaushal as Govinda Waghmare and described the character with a heart of gold. Karan also hinted towards the character being a dancer when he said his dance strikes are daring.
