The Grammy Award or just simply “Grammy” is the prestigious award that is given to various singers/artists who have given their outstanding contribution to the Music Industry of the United States of America.
The Grammy is one of the four major American Entertainment Awards that are held annually. These include Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, and Tony Awards.
Academy Awards are popularly known as the Oscars and are presented for their film achievements, Emmy Awards are conferred for artistic merit in the Television Industry, and Tony Awards are presented for the theater and broadway achievements.
The Grammy is also the first of the three awards of Big three networks, a major commercial television broadcasting network that consists of CBS (Columbia Broadcasting Network), NBC (National Broadcasting Company)and ABC (American Broadcasting Company).
Along with the Grammy, the Billboard Music Awards and the American Music Awards are the major music awards of the Big Three Network.
The winners of the various categories of the Grammy Awards are conferred with a gold-plated trophy, depicting a gilded gramophone.

The outbreak of the new variant of Covid-19, Omicron, results in the cancellation or delaying of many important ceremonies and events worldwide.
Owing to the surge in Covid Cases, the organizers of the event decided to postpone the award ceremony of the 64th Grammy Awards.
The event ceremony of last year’s Grammy Awards, also got postponed for 6 weeks, due to the pandemic.
Grammy Awards: New Schedule and Timing
One of the most prestigious Music Award event ceremonies, the Grammy Awards, that was originally scheduled for January 31, 2022, got postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases in the USA.
The show was scheduled to be held at Crypto.com Arena or Staples Center in Los Angeles, USA.
The show was rescheduled for Sunday, April 3, 2022. The ceremony took place at MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This was the first time when show took place in Vegas.

Where and When to Watch?
The event ceremony of 64th Grammy Awards was aired on CBC (the Columbia Broadcasting Channel) at 5 PM as per Pacific Standard Time and at 8 PM as per Eastern Standard Time.
