Some scenes also show Lopez crying as she received news about her Oscar snub for her performance in the 2019 film Hustler. She says in a voiceover “It was hard. I just had a very low self-esteem” and “I had to really figure out who I was and believe in that and not believe anything else”.
The trailer also shows Lopez’s fiancé Ben Affleck in a brief cameo appearance. Appearing after a barrage of public and media criticism of Lopez, Affleck says in an interview, “I said to her once, Doesn’t this bother you?’ And she said, I expected this”.
