Head Bush Story & Reviews
Produced by Daali Dhananjaya’s Daali Pictures in association with Ramco Somanna’s banner Somanna Talkies, the film is a biopic of Bangalore’s first underworld don, MP Jayaraj.
Set in the late 60s and 70s, during the tenure of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, the film roves around the happenings in Jayaraj’s life. It unfolds his childhood, “Pailwan” day, and the rise of Indira Bridge in Karnataka. The film explores Jayaraj’s journey from being a small town pailwan to being Karnataka’s first underworld don.
After learning about the plot and watching the teaser, we can say that the film has an appealing subject, and Daali Dhananjaya as the badass gangster is a perfect choice to play Jayaraj. It has interesting visuals and appears to be a gritty gangster thriller.

Can Head Bush Repeat the Success of Kantara?

The film has received a rave response and set the BO on fire by grossing around Rs. 6 crore on its opening day. Following the exceptional response it received, the demand for the film to be released in more Indian languages was very high.

After the success of the film in Kannada, it was released on October 14 in Hindi and the very next day in Tamil and Telugu. The Hindi version was released on over 800 screens around the country, and later it was reported to have been released on over 2500 screens in the Hindi version.
Rishab Shetty, the man behind this mayhem, is currently the talk of the town. The stage for Head Bush also seems perfectly set, as Kantara has beckoned the audience back to cinema halls. However, the hype Kantara has created is likely to affect Head Bush. It is very much possible that the result may not be the most favourable to Dhananjaya.
