Director Ahmed Khan and the budding Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff after launching their action thriller Heropanti 2 in cinemas, had digital premiere in May. The hit duo of actor-director earlier collaborated in Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3, thereby Heropanti 2 marked their third collaboration but failed this time.
Heropanti 2 serves as the sequel to the 2014 successful film Heropanti directed by Sabbir Khan. The film went on the floors in early June 2021 and concluded the first scheduled filming in Oct 2021. The filming took place in India, Dubai, and Bangkok, the latter’s shooting schedule began in Mar 2022.
OTT & Tv Premiere
Heropanti 2 will have its TV premiere on the entertainment pay channel Zee Cinema on 24th of Sep, 8 PM. Earlier it was being expected that the film will have its OTT premiere in the month of June but as the film failed to pull the audience at the ticket windows, makers opted for the digital release early, released on Amazon Prime platform on 27 May 2022.
Digital and Satellite Rights
The post-theatrical digital & satellite rights of the film has been acquired by Amazon Prime Video and Zee Cinema respectively. Thereby we will be witnessing the OTT debut of Heropanti 2 on the streaming platform Amazon Prime after some stay in theatres.

Box Office
Heropanti 2 opened with a decent advance bookings and saw Rs 6.15 Cr earnings on Day 1, however, the later faced a downtrend in the collections further and went on to collect only Rs 24.45 crores in its over 20-day theatrical run. Now that, it has failed big at the box office, let’s see how the digital audience responds to the film, arriving on OTT on Friday.
Star Cast of Heropanti 2
Makers on March 16, unveiled the first look posters featuring main leads, Tiger Shroff the protagonist Babloo, Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the villain’s role as Laila, and Tara Sutaria in the lead actress role as Inaaya.
In the posters, Tiger is seen sitting in a swanky car with swag, donning a tuxedo suit holding a gun, surrounded by the adversaries holding
shotguns in their hands aiming at tiger. It seems we will be witnessing some high-octane car action sequences in this action flick.
Songs
Tiger Shroff starrer is scheduled to release in cinemas on 29 April 2022 on the occasion of Eid. The film has music mogul A.R. Rehman on board, reportedly there are 5 songs in the film penned by Mehboob. Rehman also gave the background score in the film.
Mehboob, A.R. Rehman, and the director Ahmed Khan had earlier worked in Aamir Khan-Jackie Shroff starrer 1995 romantic comedy Rangeela. Ahmed Khan was the choreographer in that flick.

Babloo is all set to take on the gang of Laila as he is trying to peek into the bank accounts of ordinary Indian people so as to embezzle, the new trailer is imbued with high octane action sequences, Tiger’s action sequence and Nawaz’s acting as a villain is top notch, the cinematography is vibrant.

The Official trailer of this big-budget action thriller has been released on 17 March 2022, From the 3:38 seconds trailer, it seems Babloo(Tiger) and Inaaya (Tara) were in a relationship but parted ways owing to unexpected circumstances when they come across again, the world now need Babloo dead. Nawazuddin in the role of Laila as usual outstanding, the film has full-on action sequences with rich visuals, peppy songs by A.R Rahman. Overall it is a mass entertainer film.
