India’s regional video-on-demand and over-the-top platform, Aha, which offers content in Telugu as well as Tamil languages, is increasing its popularity and trying to expand itself in other regions too.
Aha has become a go-to platform for both Telugu and Tamil audiences due to the variety of conten and unique stories it provides whether it is original web-series or a film, it is prodding promising content for fans.
The platform has a solid vision to bring audiences engaging content and recently, its original film Colour Photo also won the Best Feature Film in Telugu at 68th National Awards. Apart from this film, the platform has also produced many Original films for fans such as The American Dream, Bhamakalapam, Bloody Mary, Super Over and more.
Now, the platform has announced another original film titled Highway, which is a psychological thriller. With lancing this project, Aha is again set to showcase the commitments to the audience by providing them unique and promising content.
Highway Star Cast
The film is being helmed by director-cinematographer K.V. Guhan, who made his directorial debut with 2010 Tamil musical coming of age film Inidhu Inidhu and directorial debut in Tamil film with N. Kalyan Ram starrer 2019 action thriller film titled 118. He is also cracking the camera for the upcoming film.
The film stars young Telugu actor Anand Deverakonda, the brother of the rising star of Telugu cinema himself and “Arjun Reddy” fame Vijay Deverakonda, in the lead role. Anand has impressed the audience with his performance in Telugu films Middle Class Melodies.
He is playing a photographer named Vishnu whereas Malayalam actress Manasa Radhakrishnan is playing his love interest Tulasi, in the film. Actress Saiyami Kher is also playing a prominent role in the film.
Bollywood actor Abhishek Banerjee, known for his notable roles in Stree, Rashmi Rockets as well as web-shows Paatal Lok and Mirzapur is playing an antagonist in the film. The film marks his acting debut in Telugu films.

Highway OTT Release Date & Trailer
Highway is an Aha original film and the official social media handle of Aha Video has dropped a poster with the caption “High! High!! Highway!!!, a nail biting original movie coming soon”. And the date is finalised ’19th of Aug 2022′.

About the Film
Produced by Venkat Talari, the psychological thriller film follows a photographer Vishnu who falls in love with Tulasi, who was shattered all her life. When everything is going on the right track, Vishnu’s life turns upside down when a serial killer named D, kidnaps his lady love. Will he be able to save her from the killer, is what the film is all about.
