Actor Adivi Sesh, who won critical acclaim for his excellent performance in the bilingual biographical drama film Major, based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, was again seen in a cop role in the edge-seat thriller film HIT: The Second Case.
It is the second installment of the HIT film Series after Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma’s 2020 film HIT: The First Case, which turned out to be a blockbuster.
Both films were written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. It is being said that the makers of the film series are planning to make it a seven-part franchise. Meanwhile, the third installment, likely titled HIT 3 or HIT: The Third Case, was confirmed during the trailer launch for HIT: The Second Case.
Adivi Sesh about HIT 3
The makers of the Adivi Sesh starrer HIT 2 revealed its trailer on November 23, 2022 at its launch event, during which Adivi Sesh confirmed HIT 3 as well as his presence in the film.
When asked about the HIT 2 sequel rumors, the actor revealed that HIT 2 will be bigger than HIT 1, and HIT 3 will be bigger than HIT 2. However, he said that he couldn’t reveal much about the film.
HIT 3 will be set against the backdrop of the United States, and its glimpse revealed at HIT 2’s climax. Unlike the first two installments, HIT 3 will see cases involving international conspiracies.
HIT 3 Star Cast
Production house Wall Poster Cinema, which backed HIT 1 and HIT 2, will also produce the third part of the franchise. The preparations for HIT 3 are already in full swing, even before the release of HIT 2.
Reportedly, the film will have Kollywood megastar “Makkal Selvan”—Vijay Sethupathi and Telugu heartthrob Nani in the lead along with Adivi Sesh. Further details about the film are kept under wraps.
