HIT: The First Case starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, was released on 15th of July 2022. The other star cast involve Dalip Tahil, Milind Gunaji, Shilpa Shukla, and Sanjay Narvekar, was promoted as an investigative drama.
Synopsis of the Hit: The First Case
Hit: The First Case reveals the story of a girl standing in the middle of the street. A police officer soon arrives to offer assistance, but she refuses. Later, she is abducted.
Rajkummar Rao as the top officer on the Homicide Intervention Team who is given the case of a missing girl. He is forced to the brink by the probe as he struggles to deal with his past trauma.
Sanya has been featured as Neha, who initially appears to be Raj’s love interest but ends up disappearing.
The film then cuts to a series of action scenes and close-ups of Rajkummar punching a few men. Rajkumar is shown at the end, wounded and seated on his knees. A hand holding a gun soon appears, and it finishes with a gunshot sound.

Critics praised Rajkummar Rao for his acting , the way he totally gets into the character and gives us mind blowing performance in each role. Unfortunately, this is a Box Office failure despite positive reviews, failed to collect Rs 10 Cr in first week, opened with just 1.33 Cr.

Rajkumar shows his excitement saying that he was immediately drawn to HIT when he saw it. He felt it is an exciting story that’s still applicable in the modern world.
