South Indian superstar Nayanthara’s horror thriller “Connect” released with the Hindi dub on 300 screens across the country on Friday, December 30th. Along with Nayanthara’s Connect, Adivi Sesh’s HIT 2 was also released with the Hindi dub.
After the massive success of Major (the biography of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan), Sesh’s popularity has also increased in other parts of India. Both films received a mixed response in the South.
Adivi Sesh’s HIT 2: Box Office Response
December 30, 2023, Adivi Sesh’s HIT 2 was released in theatres with a Hindi dub. The movie received criticism because of its Hindi dub, and many people have claimed that the voice of the lead doesn’t match the actual personality.
The Hindi-dubbed version of the movie received a mixed response from the audience. The good part about the movie is that it is a much better thriller than the first part.
Talking about the earnings, Hit2-Hindi is not doing well at the box office. As per the trade estimates, the film has minted around 2 crore nett on its first weekend.
Nayanthara’s Connect: Box Office Response
Nayanthara’s horror thriller, Connect, was released with a Hindi dub on Dec 30, and it opened with a mixed response from the audience. During its South Korean release, the film received mixed reviews.
After the release of Connect, Nayanthara thanked the audience for the response she received after the film’s release in south India. However, the film did not perform well at the box office. On its first weekend, Connect-Hindi collected below 2 crore nett, as per the trade estimates.
Movies that were released in the month of December received mixed responses from the audience. The only two movies that were able to get success in the month and have blockbuster box office collections were Drishyam and Avatar.
Avatar: The Way of the Wind crossed the 10,000 crore mark at the box office recently, which makes it one of the highest grossing movies of the year.
