After the powerful powerfance in 2021 romantic drama Shiddat, actor Sunny Kaushal will be seen in an another exciting project titled Hurdang.
The film made the headlines with the trailer launch, in which Sunny sharing steamy kiss with her love interest in the film Nushrratt Bharuccha, became the talk of the town.
As per the trailer, it is a romantic genre film, set in the year 1990, in which Sunny is hell bent on eliminating cast based reservation. Directed and written by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, and bankrolled by Shailesh R Singh with Bhushan Kumar under the banner Karma Media & Entertainemnt in collab with T-Series.
OTT Release Date
Hurdang marks the actor’s fifth film, his last venture Shiddat was premiered on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar, for which the actor garnered lot of appreciations for his bonding on screen with the co-actress Radhika Madan.
Digital Rights
However, Hurdang releases in theatres on 8 April 2022, talking about the digital premier, the post theatrical rights of the film has been acquired by the streaming platform Netflix. The premier date is expected after 4 week of theatrical run.
Satellite Rights
The post-theatrical satellite rights of the film has been acquired by the pay television channel Sony Max, & it is expected to be premiere on the channel after 8 weeks of release date.

The close to three minute trailer, starts with the romantic scene between Daddu Thakur and Jhulan, at start Daddu wants to be an IAS officer, further he made aware of caste based reservation which resulted in Daddu ending up in students politics and quits his dream for fight against reservation.The trailer is well recieved by the audience.
