Created by Ryan Little for the streaming service Disney Plus, I Am Groot is an upcoming animated television series that is based on Marvel Comics character Groot, one of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)’s most adorable characters. It consists of shorts produced by Marvel Studios.
It is a spin-off series of the Guardians of Galaxy franchise and will be made of shorts featuring possibly other MCU characters. Helmed by Kirsten Lepore, the series was announced in December 2020 and the production of its photorealistic animation had begun by August 2021.
I Am Groot OTT Release Date Out
The wait is over for all the anime lovers as the makers have revealed the release date of the MCU’s most-awaited series I am Groot. Official twitter handle of Disney+ has unveiled a poster featuring our beloved character Groot along with the series’ release date.
It is confirmed that the series will make its debut on Disney+ on August 10, 2022, as part of the Phase Four of the MCU. So save the date and get ready to be entertained.

I Am Groot Voice Cast
Hollywood superstar Vin Diesel, globally known for his role as Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise, is set to reprise his role as the voice of Baby Groot from MCU Films. The character Baby Groot is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy who is a tree-like humanoid and the accomplice of Rocket, another MCU character. Apart from Groot and Rocket, other characters that are going to be part of the series haven’t been revealed yet.
