One of the most prestigious awards in the Hindi film industry, the IIFA Awards 2022 was recently concluded. The award ceremony that recognizes the best of the talents in Bollywood annually was held at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Many stills from the 22nd edition of Nexa IIFA Awards 2022 have taken social media by storm, especially the one Salman and Abhishek having a deep conversation with Sheikh Nahyan (Youth and Social Development Minister, UAE).
The star-studded evening saw the famous celebrities gracing the award show like Salman, Shahid Kapoor, Ananya Pandey, Sara Ali Khan, Nora Fatehi, Tiger Shroff, Lara Dutta, Bobby Deol, etc.
Siddharth Malhotra led Shershaah bagged the most number of awards including Best Picture & Director. Vicky Kaushal won the best actor award for his brilliant portrayal of Sardar Uddham Singh, Kriti Sanon won the best female for playing the titular character, Mimi.

The best lyrics award is won by Kausar Munir for the song ‘Lehra Do’ (’83 The film), & the music direction award was bagged by AR Rahman for the film ‘Atrangi Re’, it was a tie with Shershaah music composers Tanishk Bagchi, Jasleen Royal, Javed-Mohsin, Vikram Montrose, B Praak, and Jaani.
Most Technical awards are copped by Vicky-led period piece Sardar Uddham in the category of Editing, Special Effects, and the Cinematography.
