Glamourous Indian actress Ileana D’Cruz was born in 1987 in Mahim, Mumbai. Her Catholic father and Muslim mother moved to Goa, in 1997, she was 10 yrs old at that time, Therefore, most time of her childhood was spent there. She got Portuguese nationality in the year 2014, as Portugal is a part of her ancestry, she said in an interview earlier.
Ileana started her acting career from a commercial success, Tollywood film Devadasu (2006), which was made up of a budget of Rs 7 crores and grossed worldwide Rs 14 crores (Approx.) to which she also got the Filmfare South award in the category of Best Female Debut. From there she appeared in many successful films of Telugu cinema like Pokiri(2006), Kick (2009), Julayi (2012), etc.
She made Her debut in the Hindi Cinema industry from Anurag Basu Directorial Barfi (2012), where she shared screen along with the Big Bollywood names Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, this comedy-drama grossed approximately Rs 170-180 crores at the box office worldwide. The actress got many accolades in known film events e.g Filmfare, Zee Cine, Star Guild Awards for her performance in the film.

1- Unfair & Lovely
In her upcoming project, Ileana will be seen sharing screen space along with Highway(2014), Sarbjit(2016) fame Randeep Hooda. The shooting of this social comedy started in Oct 2020 and concluded in Nov 2020. Its earlier title was Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, later on, in Sept 2021, makers changed the title name to Unfair & Lovely.
It is helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua under the production of Sony Groups subsidiary Sony Pictures Films India. It will explore the social issue of Apartheid but in a comical way. The film could be released in Dec this year, as its shooting wrapped up one year ago.
2- Untitled Film
Reportedly the film is a comedy-drama, but untitled yet, Its shooting is currently ongoing, so we can expect the film to come to the theatres in mid-2022, Ileana will be featuring along with Dazzling Vidya Balan, Scam 1992 (2020) fame Pratik Gandhi & American actor Sendhil Ramamurthy.
It is made under the banner of Applause Entertainment with the collaboration of Ellipsis Entertainment. This Multi-Starrer film is helmed by Suresh Guha Thakurta.
3- Luv Ranjan’s Next
Acting powerhouses Ajay Devgn and Ranbir Kapoor to share screen space in Luv Ranjan’s next film. Reportedly, Ileana D’Cruz is playing their lead female. After Badshaaho and Raid, Ajay and Ileana pair for 3rd time while Ranbir and Ileana work for 2nd time after blockbuster Barfi.
