IMDb releases its top out all popular movies, web series, actors and other categories every year in the month of December. The year 2022 is yet to end and few movie and web series are scheduled for Christmas week but IMDb has delivered its popular list.
Here’s the list of Indian Web Series, which are most popular in IMDb’s list of 2022, undoubtedly every OTT viewer is familiar to these titles. Sequels including Panchayat Season 2 and Delhi Crime 2, Apaharan 2 won again.

Actor Jitendra Kumar starrer comedy drama series tops the chart of IMDb’s most popular Indian web series in 2022. Created by The Viral Fever (TVF), the series captures the journey of an engineering graduate, who joins as a Panchayat secretary in a remote village, Fulera, of Uttar Pradesh.
The first season of the series premiered on April 3, 2020, on Amazon Prime, and following its success, the second season came up almost 2 years later, on April 3, on the platform. It has also been renewed for a third season. Apart from Jitendra, it also stars Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, and Chandan Roy in key roles.

It exposed the world of medical scams and their link with pharmaceutical companies, large private hospitals, and government officials, who exploit the poor in human trials for new drugs.

Actor Arunoday Singh starrer crime comedy drams series Apharan is one of the most loved web shows by the audience, which is why it has made it to the list of IMDb’s most popular web series of the year.

It returned with a second season title, Abhay 2, featuring Ram Kapoor and Chunky Pandey as the main antagonists. The series made a comeback with its third season on April 8 this year. The series is titled after Kunal Khemu’s character, SP Abhay Pratap Singh.
