The singing reality show is the Hindi version based on British television music series Pop Idol and has been providing the stage to talented people of India since 2004. The last season (Season 12) declared Uttarakhand’ s Pawandeep Rajan as the winner of the show.

Indian Idol Eligibility Criteria
- The contestant should be an Indian citizen
- There shouldn’t be any criminal record against the participant
- Participants must be above 18 years and if he/she is below 18, can apply under the parents or guardian-undertaking. The upper age limit is 35 years
How to Register?
- To register yourself, first download the SonyLIV app, the audition page would get active from July 25, 2022, early morning
- Choose the language and fill up the form
- If you are below 18, you need to submit your parents or legal-guardian details
- Make sure the details you have filled are correct, before clicking the submit button, read the terms and conditions.
- Upload the audition video, you can also can perform in two styles and it has to be more than 1.5 minutes
- Your face should be clearly visible in the video, and once you are sure about the this is your best performance video, click on submit button

Ground Auditions: Date & Venue
On June 25, 2022, Sony TV released a promo video in which we highlighted the winners of the previous 3 seasons- Salman Ali, Sunny Hindustani and Pawandeep Rajan, respectively and along with that it also revealed the name of cities and auditions date.
The ground auditions started from July 8 in Jaipur following in Bhubaneswar on July 10, in Guwahati on July 12, in Patna on July 14.
One July 19, 2022, the audition will be held in Indore following Lucknow on July 21, in Mumbai on July 24, in Chandigarh on July 26, in Dehradun on July 28 and in Delhi on July 31. So the grand level auditions will be concluded on July 31, 2022.
Indian Idol 13 Judges & Host
Although there is no official announcement by the makers regarding the judges of the show, its is being said that this season of Indian Idol will be judges by stalwarts Visual Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya while singer and host Aaditya Narayan will host the show.
Indian Idol 13 Premiere Date
As the Indian idol auditions are going on, it is too early to say anything about the official release date. Whatever the date can be, the show will premiere on Sony TV and if you wanna enjoy it on OTT, you can watch the show Sony LIV app.
