About the Series
Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi seems a promising and eye-opener crime thriller that is likely to shake you from the depth. Although the makers have refrained from mentioning the actual envoy it is based on, it is clear from the story that it is based on a serial killer Chandrakant Jha.
Jha was also a psychopath who used to target the young migrant laborers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. He first befriended, then killed and mutilated the bodies of 7 victims in West Delhi between 1998 and 2007.
He was found guilty on three counts of murder and received two death sentences and life imprisonment until death in 2013. His death sentences were commuted to life imprisonment without remission in January 2016.
Star Cast
The cast of the series has not been revealed by its makers yet. It is directed by Ayesha Sood, popularly known for writing, directing and producing the movie Cherry on the Top.
