Fast & Furious franchise fame Elsa Pataky will soon be seen in a Netflix original action film Interceptor. Her husband Thor fame Chris Hemsworth is serving as the executive producer in the film. Chris has already done a successful Netflix original film Extraction in the year 2022.
Talking about Interceptor is an action thriller directed by the debutante Matthew Reilley who also co-wrote the screenplay along with Stuart Beattie. The latter is also one of the producers of the film with Michael Boughen and Matthew Street.
The film revolves around captain Collins (portrayed by Elsa Pataky) who was enjoying her dream job in the Pentagon but was further drummed out from there and sent straight to the middle of the Pacific Ocean where she now is in charge of a nuclear missile interceptor.
Netflix Release Date
Along with Chris Hemsworth, Christopher Mapp, Robert Slaviero, Kathy Morgan, and Peter D. Grave also executive produced the film, Chris will be seen in the sequel of the Netflix original film Extraction 2 in the year 2023.
Netflix earlier in April unveiled the first photos from the film along with the release date, Pataky starrer is scheduled to premiere on the platform on 3 June 2022.

Star Cast of Interceptor
Along with Elsay Pataky who is the main lead, Luke Bracey will be playing one of the key characters in the film, other cast includes Aaron Glenane, Mayen Mehta, Rhys Muldoon, Belinda Jombwe, Marcus Johnson, Colin Friels, and Zoe Carides.

Makers ahead of the release, launched the trailer on SM platforms, the close to 2-min trailer starts with Collins reporting to her senior, as per the trailer, the storyline of the film seems, Collins is sent to serve at the lone nuclear interceptor in the pacific ocean further 7 terrorists arrive to seize the vessel now collins and her team have to contain or kill them to save the nuclear missiles from being launched, the story tweaked and becomes more interesting when collins finds herself in the situation where she has to fight her colleagues as well so as to make their mission successful.

Makers along with the release date also unveiled the new look poster of the film in anticipation of the release date, the poster features Elsa stunts on cage poles in order to get through her mission, and the poster also features, warheads and a U.S city behind the actress.

As per the reports Elsa Pataky went for the 6 months training, where she learned around 800 stunts as she has to fight with the men so as to overcome them on screens.
