Written and helmed by debutant Chidambaram S. Poduval, popularly known as Chidambaram, Jaaneman is a Malayalam comedy-drama film.
Sapnesh Varachal and the director Chidambaram’s younger brother, Ganpathi, who is also an actor are also co-writers of the film.
It is jointly bankrolled by Lakshmi Warrier, Ganesh Menon, Sajith Kookal, Shawn Antony under the banner of Cheers Entertainment.
If we talk about technical work, cinematography and editing in the film are handled by Vishnu Thandassery and Kiran Das, respectively while it has music by Bijibal.
Jaaneman Theater-Release
The film already had its theatrical release on November 19, 2021, in Kerala while it was released on December 10, 2021, outside Kerala.
Initially, the movie was set to release in 90 release centers in Kerala but after getting a good response, a week later, it was released in 150 centers across Kerala.
The film was a super hit as it has reached a promising collection of Rs. 33 Crore (approx.), against a low budget of Rs. 3 crore. It received a lot of praise not only from the audience but also from the critics.

Jaaneman OTT Release Date Out
After receiving an amazing response from the audience in theaters, the makers of the movie also decided to give it a post-theatrical OTT release.
According to some media sources, the film is going to have its post-theatrical OTT streaming on Friday, 25th February 2022 on SunNXT, which is Sun TV Network’s own video-on-demand service.

Jaaneman Production
The shooting of this film started during a pandemic on 9th September 2020 and it took place in different parts of Kochi and Kashmir. It was wrapped up in just 35 days.
The first look poster of the film was unveiled by megastar Mohanlal along with Tovino Thomas and Asif Ali on August 30, 2021.
The official trailer of the film was released on November 11, 2021 by the veteran megastar of Mollywood, Mammootty while his son and dashing superstar Dulquer Salman launched its teaser, earlier, on July 9, 2021.
The film remastered the hit song called Mizhiyoram, from 1980 Malayalam movie Manjil Virinja Pookkal and it was released by actress and filmmaker Manju Warrier.
